Making a Difference: AAUW Funds – Poughkeepsie AAUW Honorees

Each year Poughkeepsie Branch names the Funds that we contribute to AAUW after deserving members to honor their work in the Poughkeepsie Branch. Each woman in her own way has made a positive difference to our organization. A list of the honorees is available on the Notable Women Page

All of these honorees hope that women in the 21st century will together move towards equity in education, income and self-sufficiency. All of them believe that AAUW’s mission of gender equity through research, education and advocacy can help our Branch members become instruments of change that support women in societies here at home and around the globe.

The Poughkeepsie Branch AAUW applauds the hard work and vision of these exemplary women. As AAUW Funds honorees, they lead the way in encouraging all AAUW members to make a difference in the fight for gender equity.
